Boy Wonder hated the pool when we went on vacation this past February. I’m talking crocodile tears, shaking, and all. He put up with the kiddie pool at the waterpark in July but there were still plenty of tears. Boy Wonder’s fear surprised IncrediMom and I because he swims like a fish in the bathtub. I’ve read a lot of reviews that complain about this Life Jacket being too big for a kid Boy Wonder’s size but we didn’t have that problem. It fits Boy Wonder like a glove and gives him the confidence he needs to swim on his own. Yes, you heard me right. This almost-two-year-old daredevil is swimming ON HIS OWN.
One of my favorite features is the head pad. At first he wasn’t sure, but it’s helped boy wonder get comfortable floating on his back. Now he understand to float on his back after he jumps in. It’s never too early to teach water safety.
